Future of the Flame

Kevin Yates, National Health and Fitness Manager, was named as the Fitness Industry Association’s (FIA) Future of the Flame and picked up the award at FIA annual conference in June 2009.

Client of the year

Leisure Connection scooped the client of the year in the Low Carbon Performance Awards 2009 from Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE), beating off stiff competition from Somerfield.

National Benchmarking Service

Harpenden Sports Centre, Lord Butler Leisure Centre and the Great Dunmow Leisure Centre recently finished in the top 6 leisure centres in a league table for financial performance following the recent assessment by the National Benchmarking Service, which is a partnership approach to providing critical data on the performance of a leisure facility.
