Harpenden Youth Theatre

Having trained at Newcastle College for Performing Arts, John then gained a BA (Hons)degree in Music, Theatre and Drama at the University of Hertfordshire at the former Wall Hall Campus. Having appeared in theatre and on television professionally, he has been teaching in the area for over 5 years. He has worked with Stagecoach and Theatrix, and last year directed Wizard of Oz for St Albans Operatic Society and Pirates of Penzance for St. Albans Youth Music. He has worked with amongst others Sir Nigel Hawthorne, Martin Shaw and Jenny Seagrove. John will also be appearing at this years Edinburgh Festival with local theatre company Tidemark. His first love is musical theatre, but has appeared on television, radio and stage and worked in drama and pantomime.

Theatre credits include: Twelfth Night (touring), Oedipus 5000 (Maltings), Sticks and Stones (Bridewell Theatre), Tyger Two (Westminster Theatre), Aladdin, The Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night's Dream and West Side Story (Maltings Com Theatre).
