News: Mix 96 Tour De Vale Bike Ride
Sport England
27 April 2007
Join the fun on Sunday 10th June for WheelPower's annual charity bike ride, Mix 96 Tour de Vale, at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
We have a route for everyone, 15 miles for families and leisure cyclists, 30 miles for the keen cyclist and for the serious cyclist 50 miles. These routes pass through many picturesque local villages and countryside.
Afterwards you can relax and enjoy a barbeque and refreshments, Mix 96 will be there with entertainment for children. The adults have the opportunity to pick up a few handy tips from the Bike Repair Workshop or just enjoy some stretching and cool down exercises with an instructor from Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
Last year nearly 700 people of all ages and abilities took part in this event raising £20,000 for disabled children and adults. This year, with your help, we're aiming to raise even more money which means we can provide more children and adults living with disability access to sport.
This promises to be a fun day out for families and serious cycling enthusiasts alike so come and join us because you can make a difference to children and adults living with disability.
