HPP was recently the venue for the National School Rowing Championships. Attracting over 8,000 people over two days, this is the centre's largest rowing regatta and a large amount of work has to be done to prepare for what is one of the most prestigious events in the rowing calendar.
The organiser praised every aspect of the event and even stated that "In 20 years of running the event it was the best ever!"
