Are we ready to change lives?


Change4Life, the physical activity arm of the Government’s £75m social marketing campaign to encourage healthier and happier lifestyles is starting to gain momentum. The Change4Life campaign is a positive step to improving the health and wellbeing of the population. We are working very closely with our partners and PCTs to ensure a joined up approach is delivered and the opportunities and benefits are felt by the wider community and those who need to be engaged.


The physical activity strand of the campaign – MoreActive4life – was launched this summer. It was a fitness industry initiative and to support this we launched a nationwide open weekend to all our clubs and facilities under the umbrella of ‘Get Active Weekends’. We encouraged our communities to come and use our facilities completely free of charge to have a taste of what life is like at a Harpers Fitness facility. We welcomed thousands more people into our centres to have a taster of public access leisure provision in the UK.


We see Change4Life as a great opportunity and we will be working hard to maximise the benefits for our communities.
